Thinkingbox appoints Dan Culic as Director of Client Services, Strengthening Focus On Client Relationships
Vancouver, BC — As growth continues, global creative collective Thinkingbox has added Dan Culic as Director of Client Services to its leadership team.
Formerly a Group Account Director at Rethink, Culic spent the last seven years spearheading some of that agency’s largest and most celebrated accounts, including A&W, BCAA, Science World, and the Vancouver Canucks. He was instrumental in helping A&W continue their category leader position through successful first-in-industry launches including their better ingredients brand platform, the Beyond Meat Burger, an innovative digital coupon program, and mobile ordering platform, all laddering up to an Effies Sustained Success category award win. Before his induction into agency life, Culic was a part of the marketing and merchandise teams for Future Shop and Best Buy Canada.
“Dan joins the Vancouver team with years of experience in exceeding client expectations. His knowledge about the industry will help us deliver world-class projects, provide client servicing with excellence, and enable us to expand our ever-growing team,” says Sarah Scott, Managing Director of Vancouver.
Tasked with overseeing the Thinkingbox’s portfolio of clients out of the Vancouver office, Culic plans to bolster the output of current clients and consistently onboard new brands — both national and international — through the agency’s lens of craft & curiosity. Dan will offer executive leadership to all clients, focusing on delivering excellence and strong business results. Culic plans to continue with Thinkingbox’s strategic partnerships but aims to drive their business forward even further, ensuring clients’ short and long-term goals are met.
“Over the last 18 months, agencies have gotten busier and busier. Naturally, many creative opportunities have taken a back seat or been sidelined completely for the bottom line. Thinkingbox refused to follow that norm and has never stopped looking for new opportunities for clients to elevate work through conceptual, innovative, and tech-driven creative. They constantly push the boundaries of what’s possible. That’s why I got into this industry, and I’m excited to join the team.”
